Do Noi (ดูหน่อย - Pronounced: Do Noy)
Situated some 4kms due east of Wat Phra Phai Luang the site of Do Noi, (listed by both CISARK and the Thai Fine Arts Department), consists of a rectangular uncultivated plot, approximately 80m x 100m, set amid extensive paddy-fields and aligned a few degrees anticlockwise from an east-west orientation.
Its not clear from satellite images whether the site corresponds to an ancient reservoir with embankments or an enclosed area with embankments/walls and possible moat. Nor are we aware of what, if any, vestiges or artefacts have been unearthed on site and further verification is required.
A second rectangular area immediately west of the site is aligned east-west and displays clear earthen, tree-lined embankments. The enclosed area measures some 120m x 210m and is today filled with paddy-fields. A small rectangular pond on the southern edge still retains water and, in our opinion, the site has much more of a reservoir feel to it that Do Noi itself.
